Western Australian justice and reintegration organisation Outcare has appointed respected community sector leader David Cain to the role of Managing Director.
Mr Cain takes on the position from Shane Mauger who departed the organisation after two and a half years of service. Outcare is a leading provider of re-engagement, re-integration and justice support services in Western Australia. The organisation is a key brand for the diverse human services
company PeopleKind Group.
PeopleKind Group, Group CEO Mark Fitzpatrick said the ability to attract and appoint an executive of the calibre of Mr Cain was strong validation of Outcare and the positive impact it delivers to thousands of Western Australians annually.
Mr Cain has more than 25 years’ of experience within the community services and government sectors including his current role as Acting CEO of Communicare, after joining the organisation in 2016.
“David’s proven track record of strategic leadership and stakeholder engagement will be invaluable to Outcare’s future direction and growth,” Mr Fitzpatrick said. “His commitment to leading high performing cultures and consistently delivering impactful outcomes across diverse fields, including social services, complements Outcare’s purpose of empowering people to live their best life.” Mr Cain will take on the role from January 2025 and said he was excited to be joining Outcare which celebrates 60 years’ experience as a justice and reintegration provider this year.
