Reconnect
Supporting young people to rebuild stability and belonging
Reconnect supports young people aged 12–18 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or involved with the justice system.
Through up to two years of tailored support, the program addresses housing stability, education and employment, mental health, wellbeing, and family relationships. Families are supported alongside young people to create safer, more stable environments.
Proven outcomes show that strengthening relationships, increasing engagement in education and securing stable housing directly reduces reoffending and improves wellbeing.
This pathway supports young people to:
- Reduce further justice system involvement
- Improve housing stability and wellbeing
- Reconnect with education, training or employment
- Strengthen family relationships and support networks
- Build resilience and long‑term stability
